Even if you don’t have time to spend making classes right now, I would love to have you register as an instructor so you can get the newsletters and start learning about this process and thinking about what you might like to teach.

Every teacher starts out thinking that they don’t know enough to teach a class simply because you don’t know what it’s like to NOT know what’s in your head.

 

 

I’m looking for people that have both Experience, and Education. Most people have one without the other and that’s fine, but a good instructor will have a balance between the two.

People skills!  You will need to talk to others and deal with them in a kind and respectful manner.  You need to always remember that the most difficult people in your life are fighting personal battles that you know nothing about.

 

You can generate interest in your courses by making a small portion of the course material into a short article that gives away a little bit of free information on your topic and ends with something like,

The course includes 2 hours of video where I’ll share every detail that I’ve learned about (coursetopic) over the past ten years of working in this industry and developing my techniques.

The best way to spread the word about this school and generate more interest in your courses is to paste the link to the school and a direct link to your courses in every communication you make.

  • Put links in your Linkedin posts
  • Put links in your Facebook posts
  • …. instagram
  • … pinterest

You can also go back and edit your old posts by adding in the links too.

Use Google Trends to see if anyone is actually searching for your course topic.

If you don’t see your course showing up, don’t let that stop you. Sometimes you may know things that are highly specific to your area and that makes the value far higher even though there are few people that search for it.
